FMS Projects

  • FloridaWorks is the regional workforce board for Florida's Workforce Region 9, which covers Alachua and Bradford counties. FMS provides board coordination and management, regional financial management, service provider contract management, information technology, performance management, tracking and monitoring, and one-stop career center operational oversight. As part of these services, FMS provides complete WIA, Welfare Transition, and other associated career center population data system and case record reviews to FloridaWorks. This helps ensure that contracted service providers are in compliance with local, state and federal rules, regulations and policies. We also recommend changes to improve program effectiveness and improve performance to established outcomes. FMS monitors all programs in all one-stop career centers in Region 9, develops reports of noncompliance findings, reviews and verifies corrective action taken and provides monthly statistical performance analysis. We have been providing these services for FloridaWorks since July of 2005.

  • TBWA is the regional Workforce Board for Florida’s Workforce Region 15, Hillsborough County. TBWA serves more than 2,300 businesses annually, and nearly 100,000 job candidates visit their three career centers. FMS provided TBWA with career center management services as part of their newly established professional employer organization (PEO) service delivery model. • Workforce Solutions is the workforce board for seven counties in Texas: Brazos, Washington, Burleson, Leon, Madison, Grimes and Robertson. In this region, we provided our client PSI with similar services to those which we provided in West Central Texas using random sampling techniques to define monthly and quarterly reviews and evaluation processes. On-site staff provided ongoing data analysis of performance and technical issues, technical assistance in case and performance management techniques.

  • Work Source is the regional workforce board for Dallas County in Texas. Dallas County employers are the primary customers for workforce services. In this region, FMS provided our client PSI with risk assessment, program evaluation, performance management, technical assistance and quality assurance. FMS developed reports based on the results of our evaluation activities and disseminates them to PSI management. We then met with PSI to discuss findings and to develop a plan of action to improve or adapt conditions affecting service gaps. FMS also evaluated customer satisfaction and monitored the implementation of new procedures to ensure staff compliance.

  • Nebraska Employment First is a statewide strategy to reduce poverty and enhance the self-sufficiency of welfare recipients. FMS provided our client, PSI with quality assurance and performance management, and is responsible for the continuous quality evaluation of PSI's programs in Nebraska. We used a coaching model to identify opportunities for improvement and then work cooperatively with PSI to improve performance.

  • Wisconsin Works (W-2) was implemented statewide in 1997, the result of 10 years of successful innovation in welfare reform and a tradition of leadership in social policy. W-2 builds and strengthens the connection between work and self-sufficiency, helping families become productive members of their communities. FMS provided our client PSI with risk assessment, program evaluation, performance management, technical assistance and quality assurance.

  • Families First provides temporary cash benefits to families in Tennessee who have children, and are experiencing financial difficulties. These benefits are time-limited to 60 months in a participant's lifetime. The Families First program emphasizes work, training, and personal responsibility. FMS provided quality assurance and performance management, for PSI's operations in Tennessee.

  • The Little Rock Workforce Investment Board (LRWIB) is non-profit corporation that was established to coordinate and improve employment, training and education systems within Little Rock under the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. The LRWIB mission is to ensure maximum delivery of employment and training services through ongoing strategic planning and program performance evaluation. FMS provided our client, PSI with program evaluation, performance management and quality assurance on-site at the workforce center. Based on our findings, FMS made recommendations and provided effective implementation strategies for proposed policy or procedural changes.

What our customers are saying:

"FMS has taken the pressure of case reviews off of our field supervisors and managers. Before we had FMS, the responsibility fell on the supervisor and manager to read all the files which is impossible with their everyday functions."
